Experience

Twenty-nine years experience as a Bio-Medical Specialist and Occupational Health and Safety Professional.  Mr. Borbe is expert in assessing workplace and indoor environments for human respiratory, dermal, or other exposures to potential health hazards, such as chemicals, asbestos, mold, and noise. He is experienced in developing a risk analysis for new materials, processes, or products.

Mr. Borbe possesses extensive experience in developing and implementing OSHA and EPA compliance programs.  He is adept at specifying engineering and administrative controls to eliminate or reduce risk of injury and illness.  He can provide expert support in legal cases pertaining to health hazards.

Prior to joining ESH, Mr. Borbe served as Industrial Hygiene-Safety-Environmental Engineer for a major pharmaceutical firm’s manufacturing and research facilities in Florida.  His twenty years within the pharmaceutical industry range from QA microbiologist, manager-in-charge of industrial hygiene, safety and environmental compliance programs, to corporate environmental auditor.

Mr. Borbe is particularly adapt at analyzing damp buildings and identifying root causes and corrective actions  He is expert in investigating and diagnosing conditions that affect indoor environments and in assessing human exposures to microbiological agents, odors, allergens, and irritants.

Mr. Borbe is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and serves on the District 11 (Southeast Florida) Local Emergency Planning Committee.

Mr. Borbe serves as an expert witness in the areas of Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Safety.
