Overview

Thirty-three years experience as an Industrial Hygienist and Safety Professional.  Mr. Schlinger is expert in assessing human exposures to occupational hazards.  He possesses extensive experience in performing industrial hygiene evaluation of workplace conditions in industrial and commercial workplaces throughout the United States.  He is adept at specifying engineering and administrative controls to eliminate or reduce risk of injury and illness.  He is expert in investigating and diagnosing conditions that affect indoor environments. 

Prior to joining ESH, Mr. Schlinger served as the Director of Industrial Hygiene Services for CNA Insurance Company.  His twenty-two years within the insurance industry include serving as a Loss Control Specialist and Industrial Hygienist assisting Claims, Underwriting, Loss Control, and Policy Holders. 

Mr. Schlinger is particularly adapt at analyzing damp buildings and identifying root causes and corrective actions  He is expert in investigating and diagnosing conditions that affect indoor environments including micro biological agents, odors, and climate control. 

Mr. Schlinger is past President of the American Industrial Hygiene Association – Florida Section and past Director of the American Industrial Hygiene Association – Chicago Section.
